The Recruitment Process
Based on many years’ experience, ProSelection has developed a particularly thorough and effective recruitment process. Our process involves seven different stages.
Stage 1 - Defining the role and position
Our first meeting with you – where the process is agreed and set in motion. We get to know your company, and we agree on your future employee’s level of professional expertise and personal characteristics.
Stage 2 – Candidate Recruitment
We use all of the well-established and proven methods for promoting the position and contacting the best candidates. This involves marketing the position towards active and passive candidates in the following ways:
Search (headhunting):
- Searching within our own database of more than 17,000 qualified accounting and finance candidates
- Searching via LinkedIn and other networks
Selection:
- Advertising on job portals such as Jobindex, Jobnet, Jobzonen, Ofir & Stepstone
- Advertising on LinkedIn and Twitter
- Advertising through our own job agent at Proselection.dk
Using these methods, we contact the best-suited candidates for the position, and we issue polite rejection notices to the other candidates.
Stage 3 - Selection
All candidates recommended for the available position have been thoroughly vetted and approved by ProSelection based on their professional expertise and personal characteristics. This streamlined and consistent selection process includes:

Stage 4 - Presentation
We present the best-suited candidates for the position, which typically involves recommending two to four candidates for you to interview. The presentation material includes the candidate’s professional abilities, pay expectations and an in-depth personality description. This, together with the candidate’s CV, means you get a complete picture of the candidate’s competencies, so that you are well-prepared for the interview.
Stage 5 - Interviews
The candidate interviews are typically held at your company by you or relevant colleagues. ProSelection will assist with all the necessary practicalities and coordination of the interviews.
Stage 6 - Recruitment
When you have made your selection, the candidate is given a job offer based on an employment contract prepared by your company. All candidates provided by ProSelection are included within our guarantee. This means that another candidate will be sourced if the first candidate does not meet your expectations. ProSelection offers the longest guarantee in the market of up to 24 months.
Stage 7 - Follow-up
Customer and candidate satisfaction are of the highest priority for us at ProSelection, which is why we follow up on the candidate’s employment and progress in the months following his or her appointment.
